Hello, this is Jay Dyson.

What about me! Well..

I am married to Carol Elizabeth who is from the beautiful, blue water and pink sand island of Bermuda. She's married to me, a native son of the Great Lakes state of Michigan. We have two sons, Michael and David who live in the Golden State of Calfornia.

In 2004, we took our show on the road and moved from California to Tennessee and now live in the great metropolis of Atoka, TN (30 miles north of Memphis).

A military retiree (20 years in the United States Air Force), I had the pleasure of having been to a lot of places and meeting lots of fine folks over the years. I am very fortunate to have served in the military, as well having been blessed to have a wonderful and beautiful wife and two handsome sons who are now engaged in their own independent lives. No grandchildren yet, though!

Professionally, I work for IBM as a Global Services Support Technician. I formally worked for ServiceMaster in the same capacity, and came to IBM after ServiceMaster IT functions were outsourced to IBM. Needless to say, I was happy that my job wasn't eliminated.

Having always had the dream of owning my own business, I have dibbled and dabbled before in MLM and Network Marketing. I still vividly remember the first company I joined way back in 1972 (That company sold cleaning products. No it wasn't Amway! That would come much later down the road). So, off and on I've been involved in something or another in the MLM industry.

So, I've had my obligatory share of ups and downs along the way (Got the t-shirt).

The state of the economy drove us back into the arms of the industry. I felt that we needed to take another look at MLM and see what doors we could open with it.

Reflecting back on our prior experiences with MLM, I can put my hand on one of the biggest challenges we faced. Being in the military has you moving around a lot. The constant moving didn't afford us the pleasure of building a business because we were moving so much. Just as you would get things moving, a set of orders would come down transferring you to another "exotic" location halfway around the world. We'd try to build something no matter where we were and lo and behold... Plus the autoshipping to a foreign company was an insurmountable challenge for us.

So, we spent a lot of time not being able to do anything at all. Affiliate marketing didn't exist for years to come. Heck, there was no Internet to use.

Communication technologies didn't exist like we have today. So, staying in touch with your people was difficult to say the least.

Today, we have the greatest opportunity to build a business using the technologies that are very plentiful on the Internet. Now, it doesn't matter what hemisphere you live in. It does not matter where your business partners reside. You can communicate with them 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can market your business to your hearts content.

Just this fact alone makes it much easier to build a business than it did back in 1972.

The Internet is what drew Carol and me back into MLM. We can join any company we want and educate ourselves using some very innovative and practical technologies... right from the comfort of our home. It didn't take us long to see that using the Internet to build a business would be fun and very rewarding.

So, here we are, two empty-nesters. Looking at an extraordinary opportunity to build a business on the Internet... No matter where we are!

Take what you learn and use it to benefit your target market.

Do these 3 things without fail... Learn, apply and teach.

Don't spend your time trying reach the masses... seek out contacts before seeking customers.

Learn, then learn again, then learn some more.

Don't believe that there is a quick buck to be made.

Your business should be viewed as a long term venture and not as just a way to make money.
